Experience that Inspries
From classical viola studies with internationally recognized musicians to West End vocal coaching and performances across Europe and Israel, Victoria brings decades of artistic experience into every lesson.
Music has been at the heart of Victoria Genette’s life for decades. As a violist, vocalist, visual artist, and educator, she brings together classical training, international performance experience, and a passion for helping students discover confidence through music.
Victoria studied viola under Dr. Misha Galaganov, Professor of Viola and Chair of Strings at Texas Christian University. An internationally recognized soloist, chamber musician, and educator, Dr. Galaganov has performed throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia. His teaching career has included appointments and masterclasses at leading institutions including The Juilliard School, Rice University, Beijing Conservatory, and Shanghai Conservatory, and many of his former students now serve as principal orchestral musicians, university professors, soloists, and chamber performers around the world. Under his instruction, Victoria developed a strong foundation in classical technique, musical interpretation, and artistic excellence, earning top marks in her viola studies.
Victoria also received private vocal coaching from a distinguished performer who portrayed Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End. While her instructor prefers to remain private, this specialized training provided advanced instruction in vocal technique, musical theatre interpretation, and professional stage performance.
Her performance studies also included preparing and understudying leading musical theatre roles, including Christine Daaé (The Phantom of the Opera) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast), deepening her understanding of acting, storytelling, and vocal performance.
Throughout her musical career, Victoria has performed as a soloist, duet musician, chamber ensemble member, and quartet performer. She has received Superior (Division I) and Excellent (Division II) ratings in adjudicated music competitions and has performed in Israel, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, and the United States.
In addition to her musical studies, Victoria earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Christian University and pursued additional artistic studies in Milan, Cambridge, and Oxford, developing an interdisciplinary perspective that combines music, visual arts, design, and creative expression.
Through SonoraViva Classical Arts & Music, Victoria offers personalized instruction in viola, violin, and musical theatre voice. Her teaching philosophy combines strong technical foundations with artistic encouragement, helping students of all ages develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
